Just print, cut, tape, sign OR print, cut, punch a hole, tie a ribbon, sign and you have a cute personalized tag to add to your gifts. You can open the PDF and type a personal message before printing or you can have the kiddos write their names on the tags once they are printed. As I mentioned in day five of the giveaway that one of our favorite holiday traditions is jumping in the car and looking at the Christmas Lights. One of our favorite places to take our list is to Santa's Wonderland in College Station in Texas. We go every single year. Christmas would not be the same if we did not make this trek. If you go, check Groupon, they sometimes have discounted tickets.
There is also an old-fashioned, western town with a bonfire, hot chocolate, singing snowmen, singing Elvis, bands, and snow. It is an event that should be on everyone's holiday to-do list. It is so much fun and will definitely get you in the Christmas spirit. My favorite part is the enormous nativity scene at the end of the hayride. I love that it is displayed to remind us whey we are celebrating and to take pause and be gracious for the birth of Jesus and all of our heavenly gifts on earth.
I created this scavenger hunt for this specific wonderland but it could be easily modified to any drive-thru Christmas Light event.

This is part one. You may think, "really, how many parts are there?" Well, let's just say, we love this activity so we are in the car A LOT during the holidays. We put hot chocolate in a thermos for each of the kiddos and go driving around listening to Christmas Music. Most of the time, since we live in Texas it is not a cold as we would like it so we crank the car AC on high so we can still wear our gloves.
This is always a good "behavior modification" game. If they are fussing after school or not doing their homework (bc we all know how hard it is to focus in December), then I threaten, "ok, I guess we won't go Christmas Light Scavenger Hunting tonight". That always gets their attention.
The list includes things like Santa in an airplane or helicopter, Santa on the roof, a toy soldier, a nativity scene, and this year a bonus hunt for Olaf, the Frozen snowman. I'm sure it won't be hard to find. DOWNLOAD HERE
