Welcome to the Silly Nilly Studio, a custom party studio. Come in, make yourself at home, grab a glass of iced tea or a mimosa (or since we are in Texas now, a Margarita will be just fine), view our projects, and post comments. If you stay long enough, we may even consider you to be like family. Enjoy!

Day Four...Let it snow cupcake toppers

Let is snow cupcake toppers. Since we live in Texas my kiddos are always saying little "let it snow" prayers to the snow fairies. I used these toppers for a Winter Wonderland party a few years ago for the cupcake toppers. I also had the snowflake paper cutter so I made a few extra toppers with the snowflake. Since this was for a little girl, I had to had sparkle on the toppers so I glued a rhinestone to the topper as well. These would also make a great decoration for a Frozen-themed party.

You can also use these as square gift tags, I've used the round circle on a stick in centerpieces, wreaths on the door, and appetizer sticks. I'd love to hear how you use them.

These would also make a cute addition to a fun silly nilly day of making snowflakes. You can read about our fun day and get ideas for a winter fun day of your own.

I can create toppers to match any party theme. Check my shop, The Silly Nilly Studio for themes. If you don't see what you are looking for just send me a conversation through ETSY and I'll see what I can do!

Day Three...You've been ELF'ed! Free Download Neighborhood Fun!

My girls loved boo'ing at Halloween so much that I decided to create downloads for the Elf game. It is so fun and easy to do. We created Reindeer Kisses as our treat to share. We make them every year and are super yummy and easy to pop in your mouth. We use them as part of our "ELF gift" so I don't eat as many ;)

DOWNLOAD THE FORM HERE

1. Enjoy your treat!

2. Cut out and place the ELF-ed sign on your front door, or in a visible window.

3. Make two copies of this note and We've been Elf'ed sign (Download here).

4. Make two treat bags, baskets, or anything cute.

5. Secretly deliver to two neighbors without an Elf sign in the window. Watch the Christmas cheer spread in your neighborhood. It is so fun!

Have fun! Merry Christmas!

Day two...Let's write a letter to Santa

Ok, this promotion is going to show you my crazy, nostalgic side ;)

I design these "Dear Santa" letters so that I can keep them every year. I know, how do I do that if they are sent to Santa? We have our ELF on the Shelf take it to Santa. I have the kiddos write a little handwritten note for the Elf to take to Santa. The note asks Santa to please return the letters to mom once he is finished. Each Christmas Eve, when our Elf returns to the North Pole, he leaves a note for the kids thanking them for his adventure. He writes a P.S. that reads, "here is an early present for your mom...your Christmas letters!"

I have every one that they have written. Each Christmas, while decorating and I find myself stopping what I am doing and reading each one. My favorites are when they are first learning how to write. My girls are 10 and 6 and my son is 2. The girls help him write his letter.

I leave room above the numbers so they can write a personal note to Santa if they want to.

I also have a section where they can write their "Christmas Wish". It is a way for them to think of others during this giving season. One year, my oldest's Girl Scout troop was collecting coats so her Christmas Wish was that everyone had a coat that holiday season. This also helps me choose a community project that they can help with during the holiday season...a way for them to give back without me telling them what we are doing. Another year, one of them wished that everyone had enough food for Christmas dinner so we collected food for the food bank. The year we adopted our Lola puppy, they wanted to donate to the animal shelters. It is a great way for them to be thankful, think of others, and captures what was in their little heart that year.

One day, when I make the time to do so, I am going to frame each letter and use it for Christmas art in my house. For now, they are tucked away and bring a smile to my heart each holiday season. Enjoy!

Day One...24 days of giving...free Christmas Countdown Calendar

Here we go...I am so excited!

I create these calendars for each of the kiddo's birthday countdowns. I hope your children love them just as much as mine do! Enjoy!

CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN CALENDAR It is a 9x9 PDF. If you do not have 11x14 paper you can shrink the size in your print setting to fit to paper. It will be smaller than my calendar but will still be super cute on your refrigerator.

I purchased a flat piece of metal from JoAnn's Fabrics. I weave matching ribbon through the holes to match the holiday or the calendar.

You've been BOO'ed! Happy Halloween! Free Download Neighborhood Fun!

I had never done this before I moved to our fabulous neighborhood in The Woodlands, Texas. The first year we were "boo'ed" my girls couldn't wait to "boo" a neighbor. The object is to secretly knock on a door, leave the treat, and quietly run away. I wish I would have recorded the giggles that came running past me after they knocked and then went to hide. It was so much fun. I hope you have as much fun as we do each year. If you snap a few pics, post them on our facebook page. We'd love to share in your fun!
