I know, we need a new picture to include our little man! We have one planned in the next few weeks!

Welcome to The Silly Nilly Studio. We are happy to introduce some changes that we are super excited about.

1. We do still make ridiculously cute children's clothing at Silly Nilly Kids (formerly known as Silly Nilly Designs).This blog will still feature our clothing and our very popular Silly Nilly Days with the kiddos.

2. We've created a sister business called The Silly Nilly Studio that will be the headquarters for all our products. I am calling it a studio because it is a dream of mine to actually have a studio that people can visit, but one step at a time, right?

3. In the Studio, we now create beautiful print projects such as stationary, invitations, party printables, thank you cards, posters, announcements, anything you and your family would like to celebrate we can create. Visit our ETSY store for some examples. I'm still creating inventory so send me your party idea and we can collaborate together. What's even more fabulous? You have two options of printing; (a) print them your self at home or (b) I will print them professionally and have them delivered to you.

4. We are going to partner with other WAHM businesses to make your shopping experience so easy you are going to faint. You will be able to order your party printables, matching outfits (yes, I said matching outfits), accessories such as bows, headbands, and other hair accessories and even jewelry right from our Studio.

5. We will be offering boy and girl items. What? Yep, you knew it was only a matter of time after I had that little boy, right?

6. More give-aways and freebies on the blog and on our facebook page.

I know, now you see why we are so excited?

ABOUT OUR CLOTHING:

WE ARE SILLY NILLY KIDS! Our clothes are personal to us. We could just take pictures, post the descriptions, and sell our items, but they are so much more. Our clothes tell a story. They go on adventures, they have captive imaginations, they are whimsy when they need to be and sophisticated only when necessary. Clothing is a way to express ourselves, capture memories, make the heart tingle (especially when found years later and the child has long since grown out of them). This blog tells those stories, captures those moments, and hopefully make you want to be silly enough to laugh until you wet your pants, cry like a baby, snort out loud, and hold your belly because you can't breathe. We want every day to be a Silly Nilly Day!

We started our business while living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We recently moved to The Woodlands, Texas and are very thankful that we are still in the South. Many of our styles are inspired by southern traditions such as ruffles, bows—lots of bows, simple patterns, and sundresses.

Our favorite part of designing children's clothing is working with new clients. Some of our most favorite outfits in the store was through collaboration. Once an outfit is created and we add it to our collection, the client names the outfit. Most of the time they choose the name of the child it is being made for. We have an Olivia skort outfit, a Madelyn pant set, an Avery empire waist cotton dress, a Lexie bubble suit, and an Analise sleeveless jumper. Let us create one for you.
